You may have noticed during your
recent stays in The Gambia or you may have heard or
read about the enormous beach erosion that The
Gambian Coast has fallen victim to.
At Sunset Beach Hotel, we can proudly
boast about having the largest and longest beach
(m?) per hotel guest! Our own Beach Boys will ensure
to have your beach cleaned by the time you are ready
to enjoy the first sun rays. Comfortable beach beds
are awaiting you under the typical beach
straw-umbrellas. A Server will be more than glad to
bring you that desperately needed refreshment, be
that just a simple glass of Naturelle, the Mineral
Water produced and bottled in The Gambia, a nice
cold Julbrew, definitely and justifiably called the
best beer on the West African Coast, or a tropical
Cocktail or fruit juice.
Should you feel in top shape and have
a compass on you: start swimming in a straight line
from our beach and you will reach Brazil (in a few
days or weeks...)

Governement of the Gambia has completed an enormous
project repairing the beach erosion all along the
coast. The glory and pride of the Smiling
Coast has returned to it past glory. The peaceful
beaches of The Gambia are again inviting that long
relaxing stroll, that healthy jog or to simply
sunbathe!
